About the job
As a Solutions Consultant at NCS, you will be instrumental in crafting and delivering exceptional responses to RFQs, RFPs, and tenders focused on IT Infrastructure maintenance (network and systems) and cybersecurity solutions. This role requires active collaboration with Client Sales Units (CSUs), sales specialists, costing teams, and vendors, ensuring our proposals are both compelling and competitive.
Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to deeply understand their needs, shaping innovative solution strategies, and positioning our maintenance offerings effectively. A key element of your role will be partnering with the internal pricing team to guarantee that our solutions are accurately defined, commercially viable, and tailored to our clients’ specifications, thus delivering competitive and sustainable value propositions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Solutioning
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, CSU, Costing, Delivery) and external vendors during the proposal and bid process.
- Ensure solutions are comprehensive, cost-effective, and aligned with client requirements.
Tender Compliance
- Evaluate tender specifications and requirements to confirm full compliance.
- Identify and document any non-compliance areas, offering insightful recommendations for resolution.
Proposal Development & Presentation
- Lead the creation of proposals, bid responses, and presentations for OneCare services and scope of work.
- Ensure clarity in articulating solution value, unique differentiators, and alignment with client expectations.
RFx Response Ownership
- Own the development of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.
- Craft clear, structured, and client-focused solution narratives.
Technology & Market Awareness
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, market trends, and evolving needs in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.
- Incorporate new insights into solution design and client interactions.
Customer Requirements & Solutioning
- Engage with customers to identify their business challenges and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop tailored, value-driven solutions that meet customer needs.
Go-to-Market Alignment
- Work alongside Sales Specialists and CSUs to align presales activities with overall market strategies.
- Contribute to strategic planning and account pursuit initiatives.
Handover to Delivery
- Conduct briefings post-award to ensure a smooth transition to delivery teams.
- Define obligations, solution scope, and success criteria clearly for execution.
Client & Market Engagement
- Support sales events and initiatives to foster client relationships.
