What We Seek:A minimum of 5 years of experience working with large enterprises (over $1 million ARR) in the Retail and CPG sectors. At least 3 years of experience in a pre-sales role or supporting sales initiatives. Strong technical knowledge in big data, data science, and cloud computing. Demonstrated ability to drive business transformation through data analytics.3+ years of hands-on experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, OLAP, and full lifecycle data science solutions. Proficiency in production programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, or Java. Preferred: Certification in Databricks.

Databricks is seeking a talented and experienced Solutions Architect specializing in Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in empowering large enterprises to harness data effectively and drive innovation through machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI).

As a Solutions Architect, you will collaborate closely with the Account Executive (AE) to define and implement the technical strategy for our most significant accounts. Your expertise in value selling, technical account management, and leadership will be instrumental in advocating for the adoption of Databricks' cutting-edge products. You will guide clients through their transformational journey, ensuring they successfully evaluate and integrate our solutions into their operational framework.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for 1-5 major clients, championing Databricks’ solutions.
  • Lead customers in their journey towards data-driven transformation, supporting their strategic decisions.
  • Develop and execute the technical strategy aligned with customer needs and Databricks offerings.
  • Foster a network of technical champions within client accounts to promote Databricks solutions.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team members, enhancing their technical skills and product knowledge.
