We prioritize continuous learning and development, encouraging cross-functional collaboration where your input is crucial to our collective success.Job ResponsibilitiesForge and nurture supplier partnerships for Echo throughout the product lifecycle, from initial design and development to commercial production.Work closely with R&D engineers, cross-functional teams, and suppliers during new product development to create essential medical devices, components, and materials based on the demands of our products and organization.Utilize processes to streamline New Product Development (NPD) initiatives encompassing quality assurance, cost management, delivery timelines, and risk mitigation with suppliers.Perform Make vs Buy analysis, supplier selection, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts (including NDA, Development, and Supply), manage purchase orders, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply and competitiveness.Oversee project management for sourcing deliverables, liaising with project managers, communicating with cross-functional groups and suppliers to monitor performance and address risks.Lead workshops with internal partners and suppliers to leverage DFx strategies and tools (such as manufacturability and supply chain considerations) alongside component plans to enhance part quality and reliability.Identify, reduce, and mitigate risks, improving timelines and fostering enduring partnerships crucial to overcoming business and technical challenges.Monitor supplied component quality, supply risks, material costs, and response/lead times for new products.Collaborate with suppliers to design launch plans, ensuring that materials, labor, and capacity are ready to meet demand.
