In this role, you will be responsible for both the design and implementation of software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess:• Proven experience in developing enterprise-class web applications within Microsoft's . NET environment (including proficiency in Visual Studio, C#, and SQL Server).• Demonstrated expertise in web application design and coding.• Familiarity with state-level repositories (SLR).• An analytical mindset to identify opportunities for process improvements through application.• A strong ability to evaluate existing solutions and develop the most cost-effective and efficient plans.• A solid understanding of modern and agile IT development lifecycle processes, including development and testing methodologies.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both management and technical teams.• A collaborative spirit and the willingness to engage continuously with various stakeholders.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Frankfort, Kentucky. In this role, you will:

1. Engage in the software development and design strategy for the third stage of modifications to the MU 2015-2017 SLR development, including evaluating the current solution along with other state solutions.
2. Collaborate with the state’s HIT team to comprehend project requirements.
3. Partner with various state SLR development teams for effective collaboration.
4. Outline the requirements for the next phase of South Carolina’s SLR.
5. Work closely with Clemson’s technical team to execute functional testing.
6. Ensure compliance with CMS standards and adherence to ACA regulations.
7. Document solutions comprehensively and provide training to state staff for ongoing maintenance.

This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in complex, change-oriented projects and enjoy collaborating with motivated team members.
