RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and implement modular test software frameworks that integrate satellite hardware and testing equipment for cellular software development and verification. Maintain and troubleshoot automation lab infrastructure, collaborating with partner teams to address any issues. Create tools and dashboards that provide insights into testbed and production network performance. Work closely with developers on new 4G and 5G cellular features, designing automated tests to validate functionality and performance. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related STEM field; OR 4+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree. Proficient with Linux operating systems. Strong programming skills in Python. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience in building, automating, and troubleshooting hardware-in-the-loop (HIL/HITL) testbeds, including network devices and mobile phones. Knowledge of configuration management and version control best practices.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER, TEST & AUTOMATION (STARLINK MOBILE)
The Starlink Mobile network is designed to enhance Starlink’s mission by offering global connectivity through seamless access to voice, text, and data services for mobile devices. Utilizing a network of hundreds of satellites, we aim to provide unparalleled cellular service worldwide.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be instrumental in integrating hardware and software to create robust testing infrastructure. This infrastructure will facilitate continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes, ensuring our radio access network (RAN) software is validated before being deployed to the production satellite network. You will be responsible for developing integration and interoperability test cases, contributing to the seamless operation of next-generation cellular devices on the Starlink Mobile network.
