This Software Engineer position sits within the Sync Learning & Impact squad in London. The team focuses on creating systems that connect coaches, learners, and managers, with the goal of improving learner retention and demonstrating the value of modern apprenticeships to companies worldwide.
Role overview
This role centers on building and scaling features that make a real difference for learners and coaches. The work involves designing systems that support strong relationships and measurable outcomes. The squad values autonomy, trust, and a bias for action, and seeks someone who enjoys mentoring others and navigating ambiguity.
What you will do in your first 6 months
- Architect the foundation: Define and build technical solutions for coach-to-manager interactions, addressing new and complex challenges.
- Mentor engineers: Guide mid-level engineers as they take on Feature Lead responsibilities, helping the team deliver more effectively.
- Drive impact: Work with colleagues from other teams to create solutions that improve learner engagement and retention.
