RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop software and infrastructure that supports frequent and reliable deployment, test execution, and data analysis as part of a continuous integration and release ecosystem. Analyze test results to identify bugs, requiring detailed investigations with engineers across various teams. Collaborate closely with both software and hardware engineers to create an intuitive, fast, and high signal-to-noise ratio integrated test platform. Implement robust test execution across diverse environments, including hardware-in-the-loop (HITL, HIL) and virtualized hardware simulations. Engage in hands-on collaboration with engineers to identify, investigate, and resolve issues with Starlink hardware and software. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related STEM field, along with 1+ years of professional experience in test systems, software, or hardware development; OR 3+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree (internship experience counts). Proficiency in development using Python, C, C++, or Rust. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience in building, testing, or working with CI/CD systems. Proficiency in Linux and Bash, along with familiarity with networking protocols. Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing skills. Experience developing and deploying software used in real-world applications or projects. Data analysis skills and experience with simulation software.
