About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer with a strong background in developing secure backend systems that prioritize user data protection. This position is ideal for individuals deeply committed to the intersection of product development, privacy, and security.
This position is based in San Francisco, with relocation assistance available.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Designing, developing, and implementing backend systems that enhance privacy and security features within our API products and consumer applications.
Conducting threat modeling, privacy design reviews, and code assessments to maintain the highest standards of privacy and security.
Collaborating with product managers and engineering teams to create innovative products that leverage cutting-edge research while preserving privacy and security integrity.
Engaging with the legal team to document and assess internal compliance measures, ensuring alignment with legal standards and conducting comprehensive audits to uphold compliance and integrity.
Coordinating and actively participating in privacy incident response initiatives.
You will excel in this role if you:
Possess extensive experience in building and refining production systems to comply with legal standards while enhancing scalability and privacy safeguards.
Have successfully led or contributed significantly to security initiatives, showcasing your ability to collaborate across functions.
