As a Land Development Coordinator at ppcltd, you will be instrumental in driving both residential and commercial development projects through diverse phases of the development lifecycle. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to navigate planning approvals, facilitate design coordination, and help execute strategic development initiatives. A robust understanding of site planning, urban design, and municipal planning frameworks is vital for success in this position.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and assist in crafting site plans, conceptual designs, and planning reports in tandem with consultants and internal teams.Oversee aspects of the development approvals process, including Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments, Draft Plans of Subdivision, and Site Plan Control Applications.Work alongside planning consultants, engineers, architects, and municipal staff to address design, policy, and technical challenges.Help prepare and coordinate presentations for municipal staff, committees, stakeholders, and the public.Manage project timelines and budgets for soft costs; monitor deliverables to ensure timely submission of planning applications and supporting documentation.Engage in preliminary development feasibility analysis, market research, and site evaluations.Support internal decision-making efforts by providing organized summaries, reports, and visuals for ongoing and prospective development projects.Represent the company in municipal meetings and public engagement sessions.Assist in consultant procurement and oversee the scopes of work for planning and design professionals.Maintain current project files, approval documentation, and correspondence for all active developments.Contribute to internal process enhancements, template creation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
