In this pivotal role, you will ensure the successful execution of customer-driven programs, fulfilling milestone deliverables to meet client expectations and prevent delays in their internal development and deployment timelines. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you’ll engage directly with seasoned internal engineering leaders, clients, and strategic partners to facilitate hardware product development from the initial planning phase through design, validation, qualification, and ultimately, volume production. You will guide the cross-functional engineering team through various stages of the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, conducting design and phase gate reviews. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are imperative for success in this role.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Technical Program Manager, your duties will include:Drafting comprehensive Statements of Work (SoW) and Product Requirement Documents (PRD) for intricate technical programs.Facilitating weekly cross-functional engineering team meetings to ensure alignment and progress.Collaborating with key customers and strategic partners to formulate program plans, including negotiating timelines, milestone deliverables, prototype allocations, and feature sets.Leading a diverse team comprising Hardware, Software, Central, and Diagnostic Engineering, along with manufacturing engineering, product management, ODM/JDM partners, and customer support to launch exceptional products.Monitoring and reporting on the design engineering validation and qualification status of your programs, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they escalate.Developing a master schedule that outlines and interrelates the key deliverables throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring the team remains on target to meet program milestones.Conducting program design reviews and bug scrub meetings.Overseeing engineering programs, including scheduling, planning, cost analysis, and milestone reviews.Driving cross-functional resolution of issues, ensuring they are identified, assigned, and tracked to completion, while escalating to appropriate functional leaders as necessary.Facilitating the engineering segments of phase gate review meetings.
