About the job

At BLAST, we are in a phase of rapid expansion, and our mission is to continually redefine the boundaries of technology to provide unparalleled experiences for our fans globally—from expansive stadium events to intimate studio settings.

We are in search of a talented Software Engineer to contribute to the development of reliable, high-performance systems tailored for our events. Our engineering team is dedicated to creating a diverse range of systems, often focused on integration with various games. This encompasses everything from processing game statistics to crafting real-time data visualizations, including game HUDs, broadcast graphics, stage visuals, and automation tools used by our production teams.

While we have a steady flow of projects, we also encourage exploration and learning new technologies. Our aim is to continuously innovate and discover new methods to leverage technology, pushing the limits of what is achievable.

Most of our systems operate on-site in our studios or at live events worldwide, and you will have the opportunity to attend these events to ensure successful execution and to troubleshoot any issues that arise.

The Team

You will collaborate within a compact engineering team where every voice matters throughout the entire process—from ideation alongside our product teams to deciding on the technologies and architecture we should implement. The variety of new projects ensures that no two workdays are alike.

You will have regular one-on-one meetings with your manager, enabling you to focus on personal development and growth by establishing clear goals and exchanging constructive feedback.

Our culture is laid-back, encouraging everyone to partake in planning and execution. We highly value input from all team members and promote open discussions on everything from overarching ideas to specific technology choices. We strive for continuous improvement and learning and encourage you to share your insights. Although we work swiftly, our primary objective is to ensure that everyone enjoys being part of the BLAST team.
