Your Role:
As a vital member of our infrastructure team, you will uphold our commitment to reliability, ensuring our systems function seamlessly as our customers depend on them for their revenue streams. You will oversee the infrastructure that underpins our entire product suite, encompassing event ingestion, API services, alert systems, invoicing, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives focused on infrastructure resilience, including recovery mechanisms, tenant isolation, and handling load spikes.
- Enhance the observability and operability of our systems.
- Develop performance-critical, user-facing infrastructure, such as real-time event processing.
- Strategize scaling initiatives to accommodate significant customer growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the establishment of reliable product features.
- Share your expertise and learn from a talented peer group.
What You Bring:
- A deep understanding of edge cases, failure modes, and bottlenecks.
- Strong investigative skills for diagnosing complex errors and performance challenges.
- A passion for building scalable infrastructure for high-growth products.
- Experience mentoring fellow engineers on best practices in observability, rollout strategies, and risk management.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in infrastructure roles.
