Strong foundational knowledge in computer science principles (data structures, algorithms, software design) with an aptitude for applying them to real-world challenges. Proficient in at least one modern programming language; Python is highly preferred, but experience in languages such as Go, Java, C++, or similar is also advantageous. Experience in software writing and testing through internships, personal projects, open-source contributions, coursework, coding competitions, or research, with the ability to showcase code you’re proud of and discuss the decisions made during development. Interest in or exposure to contemporary software delivery practices (e.g., CI/CD, containers, cloud platforms, observability tools), with a desire to delve deeper.
