What You Will Do Design and implement software projects critical to Abnormal’s success, collaborating with a team of engineers from conception through to operation. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Work closely with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and GTM teams to address issues and requests from clients. Uphold engineering excellence by sharing knowledge and participating in professional development activities. Start making contributions to the team’s objectives within the first two weeks. Must Haves Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related engineering field. 3+ years of industry experience in designing and developing full-stack software applications. Expertise in our technology stack: Proficient in React, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Intermediate proficiency in Python and/or Go. Experience in building features and components from the ground up while balancing development with operational tasks. Ability to adhere to established guidelines and coding practices.

Join Abnormal AI as a Full Stack Software Engineer II and become a vital part of our pioneering team within the Messaging Security Products (MSP) division. You will engage with the Threat Visibility and Exploration Team (TREX) as well as the Adaptive Classifications Team (ACT). This role emphasizes the delivery of exceptional product experiences by refining our core offerings in Email Security and threat visibility. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining robust products, ensuring flawless integration from the database layer to the user interface, with a primary focus on back-end development while also managing some front-end tasks (80% back end, 20% front end).

We are looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in full-stack development, possessing extensive knowledge in both frontend and backend technologies. You will leverage your skills to enhance visibility into detected threats, empowering SOC teams to intuitively search and filter threat data. This role also involves supporting SOC workflow automation by developing tools like the AI Security Mailbox and Detection 360.
