We are seeking a proactive, product-oriented Software Engineer II who desires substantial ownership across the technology stack, directly influencing millions of fans.

This role transcends traditional boundaries; it is not solely frontend-focused nor limited to backend systems. We seek engineers eager to leverage their skills across UI, APIs, services, experimentation frameworks, and data-driven iterations to deliver impactful product enhancements swiftly.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – New York, NY or Century City, CA
 
About the Team: 

The Consumer Experience team is responsible for the most vital interfaces at StubHub:

  • Event discovery and search
  • Personalization and recommendations
  • Merchandising and pricing interfaces
  • Conversion and checkout processes
  • Web and mobile user experience

We foster a high-talent environment where engineers are encouraged to shape product direction, conduct experiments, and influence business metrics.

We deploy code continuously, measure outcomes meticulously, and iterate rapidly.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-scale consumer features utilized by millions.
  • Take ownership of projects from initial ambiguous problem statements to full production deployment.
  • Collaborate across frontend and backend systems to achieve complete solutions.
  • Implement A/B testing experiments and iterate based on genuine user behavior.
  • Integrate AI-driven functionalities into user-centric product flows.
  • Engage deeply with product, design, and data teams to enhance overall user experience.
