Role Overview
This Software Engineer position focuses on building and maintaining the core infrastructure that links and coordinates distributed energy devices, so they can participate in electricity markets. The role blends product engineering, devops, and data engineering. Engineers at Axle have broad ownership, often communicating directly with clients and market operators to collect feedback and improve outcomes.
The company has a flat structure, which supports quick decisions and gives every team member a strong sense of ownership.

- Prioritize delivering results and taking full responsibility for the products you develop.
- Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, focusing on delivering the majority of value in a fraction of the time.
Technology Stack
- Backend: Python is the main language, supporting close collaboration between data scientists and engineers for rapid development.
- Prototyping: Figma is used to design and test ideas quickly before building them out.
