ResponsibilitiesLead engineering initiatives, including project planning, estimation, task assignment, and progress tracking. Oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring best practices in design, coding, documentation, testing, debugging, and optimization. Foster clear communication and collaboration across multiple development teams. Engage cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and QA to uphold and exceed usability and quality standards. Provide project management direction and inspire your team. Excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. RequirementsBachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field. Strong programming proficiency in Java or similar object-oriented languages. Experience with Postgres, SQL, and data architecture is advantageous.

As a Software Development Team Lead on our Integrations team, you will spearhead the design and development of systems that ensure seamless implementations of IXL within various educational environments. This position is full-time, based in our Toronto office, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday and the option to work from home one day per week.
