Job Description
What will your new role entail?
You will be an active engineering leader responsible for assembling a talented team and delivering exceptional software. As the Software Development Manager, you will establish a new team dedicated to modernizing ShareGate's architecture, defining the technical roadmap, remaining close to codebases, and building trust with your engineers.
This role transcends traditional people management; we expect you to lead by example.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and cultivate a new team from scratch, focusing on hiring, onboarding, and mentoring engineers tasked with modernization efforts.
- Articulate and steer the technical strategy for re-engineering and updating ShareGate's platform.
- Manage the complete software development lifecycle, from planning and execution to hands-on involvement in coding, design, and quality assurance.
- Promote engineering excellence across testing, security, observability, reliability, and performance while enhancing delivery flow through CI/CD, automation, and tooling standards.
