Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS· A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a combination of technical education and relevant work experience;· 5 to 10 years of experience in Software Development;· Proficient in designing highly interactive web applications, considering performance, scalability, accessibility, usability, design, and security. Eagerness to learn is encouraged if not all skills are present.· Strong object-oriented design and programming skills in C/C++ and/or Java, preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform.· Solid background in software development, encompassing design patterns, data structures, and test-driven development.· Familiarity with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and both relational and NoSQL databases.· Proficient in building complex web applications utilizing JavaScript/AJAX, XHTML, and CSS.· Experience or knowledge in jQuery, Java, Struts, and other web technologies.
