The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager who will shape the voice and visual identity of a pioneering company in the fintech sector. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be the sole creative force responsible for how Outpost presents itself to the world.
Initially, this role requires a hands-on approach: capturing the essence of our office culture, translating intricate fintech concepts into captivating content, and engaging with a community of founders and finance leaders. As you grow, so will your influence in developing our brand and community presence.
While we are focused on 'boring' infrastructure such as tax, payments, and compliance, our mission is anything but dull. Your challenge will be to make global trade exciting and approachable, transforming technical details into compelling content that resonates with audiences.
You are a creative professional with a keen understanding of business dynamics. You’ve experienced exceptional brand-building at rapidly growing companies and are eager to create that success from the ground up. You appreciate the artistry of a post just as much as the metrics that drive it.

What You'll Do
Content Creation (Day One)
- Lead the entire content lifecycle: from ideation and scripting to filming, editing, and distribution.
- Transform complex topics like VAT, Merchant of Record, and liability into engaging hooks and visual narratives.
- Oversee our social media presence on LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and emerging platforms.
- Document the behind-the-scenes journey of a fast-growing startup to enhance our talent brand.
