UniUni seeks a Site Planning Specialist for its Richmond, Canada location. This position requires fluency in Mandarin. The specialist will focus on shaping the internal layout and workflow of logistics hubs and last-mile distribution centers. UniUni encourages employees to pursue both lateral and vertical growth, supporting skill development across different roles.

Main responsibilities

  • Functional zoning and layout design: Plan and design the internal zones and layouts for logistics hubs and distribution centers. Integrate key business operations and workflows, including inbound, sorting, warehousing, outbound, and temporary storage. Ensure space is used efficiently and safety standards are met.
  • Workflow optimization: Develop and refine on-site workflows, with attention to the movement of people and goods. Work to reduce congestion, improve sorting efficiency, and speed up goods turnover. Monitor operations and adjust processes as needed using real-time data.
  • 6S standardization: Establish and implement 6S management standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety). Guide on-site teams in following 6S practices and conduct regular audits to maintain high operational standards.
