Qualifications Relevant experience in chip or system architecture, silicon design, or related hardware development. Track record of delivering innovative features and techniques in chips and systems related to ML, compute, networking, storage, or related domains. Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Python, C/C++, Rust, Bluespec, or comparable languages for chip architecture and silicon design. Skilled at debugging complex architectural issues across design, validation, system engineering, software, and field support. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work from our Mountain View, CA office three days a week on Tuesday through Thursday.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, support, and ownership of hardware architecture throughout the complete product lifecycle.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer use cases, workload performance, and research in machine learning systems.
  • Create detailed requirements and architecture specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with hardware, software, and machine learning research teams at all project stages.
  • Enhance performance using both pre- and post-silicon tooling.
  • Participate in the verification and validation processes.
  • Take an active role in problem-solving and delivering tangible results.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in chip or system architecture, silicon design, or related hardware development.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering innovative features and techniques for chips and systems in areas such as machine learning, computing, networking, and storage.
  • Expertise in SystemVerilog, Python, C/C++, Rust, Bluespec, or other relevant programming languages for silicon design and architecture.
  • Adept at troubleshooting complex architectural challenges across design, validation, system engineering, software, and field support.
  • This position is hybrid, requiring you to work from our Mountain View, CA office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
