In this hands-on role, you will thrive in a fast-paced hardware environment where your skills will directly contribute to the assembly and maintenance of cutting-edge robotic systems that are essential for our data collection and model training initiatives.Collaborating closely with our Hardware Engineering team, you will play a vital role in transitioning robots from prototype to production, ensuring that quality and reliability are upheld at every stage of the process.Key Responsibilities:Assemble and construct robotic systems based on engineering specifications, incorporating mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components.Install, calibrate, and configure robots and end-of-arm tooling for diverse applications.Conduct test protocols and quality assurance checks to guarantee optimal robot performance.Maintain meticulous service records and documentation for robotic equipment.Assist in hardware bring-up, including wiring, harnessing, and sensor/actuator integration.Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to diagnose manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.Oversee inventory management of parts, tools, and consumables for the hardware lab.Provide training to team members on assembly techniques and best practices.
