At DashMart, a local fulfillment center operated by DoorDash, we provide customers with essential household items and more, delivered swiftly and reliably. Shoppers can order groceries, convenience items, retail products, and prepared meals through the DoorDash app, while our dedicated team ensures that orders are fulfilled efficiently from a physical store for our Dashers to deliver. We maintain flexible hours, operating early and late, with some locations open 24/7!

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual who thrives in fast-paced, physical settings and is eager to contribute actively to daily operations. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing shifts within the local fulfillment center, supporting Site Management, and delegating tasks effectively. This role involves ensuring order fulfillment in a warehouse setting, managing inventory, and, in certain locations, assisting with light food preparation.

  • Be an Owner: Take full responsibility for your assigned shifts, including overseeing warehouse and kitchen processes, ensuring safety and cleanliness, maintaining quality standards, and training new team members.
  • Delight Customers: Guarantee that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and delivered with quality, communicating effectively with customers to resolve any issues and ensuring smooth Dasher pickups.
  • Lead: Guide Operations Associates during their shifts, promoting a safe and productive work environment while serving as the escalation point for daily operational challenges.
  • One Team, One Fight: Collaborate across warehouse and kitchen operations, assisting with daily tasks and modeling professional interactions to foster a positive and safe atmosphere for both team members and customers.
  • Help Improve Operations: Share innovative ideas to enhance our quality of service and customer experience.
