The Service Delivery Manager will lead the comprehensive management of security vulnerability remediation processes, ensuring robust protection for organizational assets. This role demands a profound knowledge of security best practices, risk management, and IT service delivery. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and mitigate security vulnerabilities through effective patching and solutions deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Vulnerability Management:
- Collaborate closely with the Cyber Security team on the vulnerability management program, focusing on identifying, assessing, and prioritizing critical vulnerabilities affecting the business.
Remediation Management:
- Identify effective solutions for assessed vulnerabilities.
- Create and execute comprehensive remediation plans within set timelines.
- Monitor and manage remediation progress, ensuring timely closure of vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders regarding scheduled downtimes necessary for deploying remediations in live environments.
- Work alongside IT teams to implement essential patches, updates, and configuration changes.
- Establish and sustain a knowledge base for vulnerability remediation.
Risk Management:
- Collaborate with stakeholders for thorough impact analysis.
- Create rollback contingency plans to address implementation challenges.
- Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation.
- Maintain current risk registers and comprehensive reports.
Service Delivery:
- Guarantee the provision of high-quality security vulnerability management services.
- Monitor performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage incidents and problems related to service delivery.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly reports detailing progress and status of the remediation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with designated Service-Level Agreements.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of specialists within the remediation program.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide constructive feedback.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
