Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Utility Project Associate to enhance the project lifecycle for dependable and cost-effective infrastructure across our expanding portfolio of data center locations. In this pivotal role, you will assist in delivering Rowan’s power and water infrastructure solutions by collaborating with leading utility partners to complete essential projects on time and within budget while achieving Rowan’s capacity, reliability, and sustainability goals.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a proven track record in managing multiple large-scale technical infrastructure and interconnection projects. A solid project management background and a commitment to carbon-free energy and sustainability are essential. You will engage directly with utilities, customers, and project partners during the engineering, procurement, and construction phases. Internally, you will work closely with site development, engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery and timely service initiation. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the technical aspects, the ability to manage critical path schedules effectively, and the aptitude to navigate challenges in constrained environments while communicating effectively with organizational leaders and stakeholders.
Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 30% for company events, utility consultations, and project site inspections.
Preferred Locations: Strong preference for candidates based in Denver, CO, or Seattle, WA.
Compensation: $105,000 - $130,000 with bonus opportunities.
