Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in turbomachinery design and analysis. Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and finite element analysis (FEA). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with engine testing and validation processes is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Team:

The propulsion team at Relativity is at the forefront of developing engines that will power the Terran R vehicle. We oversee the design process from initial concept through to launch and subsequent reuse. Our team collaborates closely with manufacturing, testing, launch, and integration teams, aiming to develop our engines efficiently to support Terran R's inaugural launch in 2026. In this role, you will contribute to the design, testing, and iterative development of our Aeon-R engine systems, witnessing their evolution and ultimately facilitating Terran R’s journey into space.
