Your contributions will significantly influence developer productivity, aiming to save engineers substantial time each week through streamlined workflows. By designing robust architectures and implementing resilient solutions, you will ensure our internal systems operate with fault tolerance and high efficiency.
Team Dynamics & Collaboration
You will become part of the Tooling Team, a distributed group of five members located across Melbourne, Sydney, and Wellington, focused on achieving specific productivity objectives. The team works in a fully hybrid model, maintaining regular collaboration while enjoying the flexibility to tailor their work environment to their individual preferences.
Current Team Projects
Implementing LaunchDarkly's Relay Proxy using Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS to bolster infrastructure resiliency.
Integrating various data sources within DX by developing utilities that process and transform data via AWS Lambda and . NET.
Enhancing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to foster more efficient deployment workflows.
Supporting and integrating industry-standard tools like SonarQube, LaunchDarkly, and Playwright to elevate the developer experience.
Work Environment
This role is available in either Melbourne or Sydney. We promote a fully hybrid work environment, encouraging team members to come into the office occasionally while supporting a flexible working style that suits individual needs.
Desired Qualifications
Strong understanding of C# and the ability to work independently to establish technical direction.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS, and deploying infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code methodologies, preferably Terraform.
Experience in supporting or building CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions.
A natural inclination towards automation and a passion for enhancing governance through code.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
