Join Vast as a Senior Tooling Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of human space exploration. In this full-time position based in Long Beach, California, you will report to the Senior Manager of Integration Manufacturing and contribute to the design and construction of cutting-edge artificial-gravity space stations. Your expertise will be essential in the development, implementation, and support of tooling and fixtures vital for the assembly of Haven-1, the world’s first commercial space station. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define manufacturing processes, specifications, and tooling interfaces, while managing project schedules and vendor relationships. Your innovative mindset will drive improvements and efficiencies in tooling design, ensuring a seamless integration into production.
