About the Role
Join comfy-org as our inaugural in-house recruiter, tasked with developing our hiring strategy from the ground up.
You will revolutionize how we source, engage, and secure top talent, from engineers and machine learning experts to creative designers and go-to-market professionals.
Your expertise will shape our recruitment processes: from innovative sourcing techniques to candidate experience and interview frameworks.
This is a unique opportunity to not only expedite hiring but to create a robust recruitment foundation that scales with precision and purpose. As our team grows, your contributions will significantly influence the future of comfy-org.
Collaborate closely with our founders and early team members to cultivate a company that thrives on both creativity and technology, contributing to one of the most beloved AI creative tools.
Your Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment across engineering, design, GTM, and G&A.
Build and enhance our recruiting engine: design effective interview processes, scorecards, and maintain ATS hygiene (we utilize Ashby), while monitoring funnel health metrics to ensure quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with founders to anticipate staffing needs, refine job scopes, and maintain a high bar for talent.
Engage with top talent creatively: leverage open-source communities, GitHub, Discord, and specialized networks to attract candidates.
Effectively close candidates by articulating comfy-org’s mission, growth trajectory, and equity opportunities relative to larger firms.
Potentially advance to a Head of Talent role by hiring and mentoring additional recruiters and overseeing the talent strategy across the company.
You May Be a Great Fit If You:
Thrive in the dynamic environment of a Series A startup — you act swiftly, iterate quickly, and document effectively.
Possess hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting within both technical and creative sectors.
Strike a balance between proactive sourcing and process management.
Have experience building or a desire to build effective recruiting systems.
