Role Overview
As a Senior Technical Project Manager specializing in Payload Engineering at Astranis, you will be instrumental in spearheading the RF and communications engineering development for all our projects. Your leadership will guide initiatives from conception through to completion, ensuring projects align with objectives, adhere to timelines, and remain within budget. This position requires extensive collaboration across functions and adaptability to navigate challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and address cross-disciplinary challenges.
- Create integrated project schedules with quantifiable milestones for all payload units and subsystems.
- Monitor and document project progress meticulously.
- Act as a conduit between the development engineering team and other stakeholders, including supply chain, software, and operations.
- Facilitate the implementation and organization of risk and opportunity strategies.
- Devise and implement strategies to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Collaborate closely within the Program Management team to uphold PM best practices and processes across Astranis.
