High School Diploma or GED required; higher education is a plus. Must maintain a Non-Sensitive / High Risk (Public Trust) security clearance (Tier 4/6c). Proficiency in Oracle and DB2 products preferred.

Position Overview:

PingWind is in search of a dedicated Senior Technical Lead for Data, responsible for ensuring system stability, integrity, and optimal performance in alignment with approved specifications. This role involves supporting the development of acquisition documentation, conducting milestone reviews, and overseeing key operational/test events. The successful candidate will ensure the ongoing maintenance and optimization of operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Directing engineering efforts that facilitate the development, modification, and operation of the organization’s information systems. This includes planning, designing, developing, evaluating, testing, and integrating systems infrastructure along with hardware and software implementation.
• Managing engineering activities pertinent to the organization’s information systems.
• Leading the Systems Engineering team and overseeing all related activities.
• Supporting and optimizing all networked software and operating systems.
• Organizing and leading the systems engineering team effectively.
• Conducting risk assessments and developing strategies for mitigation.
• Formulating project costs, schedules, and execution plans.
• Establishing and reviewing technical performance metrics.
• Coordinating multiple concurrent tasks while adhering to strict deadlines for large-scale, highly available systems integrated with critical business functions.
• Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in data encryption, storage, and retention methodologies.
• Executing complex technical tasks with a deep technical understanding of Information Technology systems and services.
• Strong grasp of Identity and Access Management principles and technologies.
