Position Overview:

Join PingWind as a Senior Systems Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of sophisticated IT systems that drive our organizational goals. This position demands advanced technical proficiency, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and a talent for leading projects while mentoring junior engineers. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of systems, ensuring alignment with business and mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level systems, networks, and infrastructure solutions.
- Assess system requirements and convert them into practical technical solutions.
- Guarantee the scalability, security, and performance of system architectures.
- Install, configure, and integrate operating systems, applications, and tools.
- Manage system upgrades, migrations, and deployments with minimal disruption.
- Automate processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity metrics.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across various environments.
- Ensure adherence to security standards, policies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, network engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and project managers.
- Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Spearhead system-related projects from requirements gathering to final delivery.
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, cybersecurity standards, and internal policies.
- Engage in audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning.
