The Senior System Analyst at Luminis Health supports strategic initiatives across multiple systems and departments in Annapolis, MD. This position connects organizational goals to actionable information system solutions and serves as a bridge between IT and other business areas. The role calls for strong leadership, the ability to interpret business needs, and practical experience with core information system processes.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Define testing requirements for new or modified software, including systems, reports, code, views, tables, queries, macros, programs, and applications. Design and coordinate thorough test plans across different platforms.
  2. Review current systems in light of the strategic Informatics plan and recommend improvements that align with organizational goals.
  3. Provide user support for centralized systems and identify integration needs to keep information flowing smoothly between applications.
  4. Work directly with end users to understand their requirements. Tasks may include evaluating data dictionaries, writing custom reports, programming, developing applications, managing projects, and preparing requirement documents for both internal and external development. Help create training materials and organize training sessions for assigned modules.
  5. Serve as the main application support contact for assigned modules. Troubleshoot issues, maintain accurate data flow between systems, and oversee related projects.
