The Senior System Analyst at Luminis Health plays a key role in connecting organizational strategy with practical information system solutions. Based in Annapolis, MD, this position works across multiple departments, translating business needs into effective IT actions. The analyst acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, requiring strong leadership and a solid grasp of core information system processes.

Main responsibilities

  • Define and document testing requirements for new or updated software, including systems, reports, code, views, tables, queries, macros, programs, and applications. Design and coordinate comprehensive test plans across different platforms.
  • Review existing systems in the context of the strategic Informatics plan and recommend improvements that support organizational objectives.
  • Provide user support for centralized systems and identify integration needs to ensure smooth information flow between applications.
  • Work directly with end users to gather requirements. This may involve evaluating data dictionaries, writing custom reports, programming, developing applications, managing projects, and preparing requirement documents for both internal and external development. Assist in creating training materials and organizing training sessions for assigned modules.
  • Act as the primary application support contact for assigned modules. Troubleshoot issues, maintain accurate data flow between systems, and oversee related projects.
