Role overview The Manufacturing Readiness Lead manages production operations and coordinates the supply chain for advanced aerospace products in Denver. This role centers on careful scheduling and project coordination, making sure all production requirements are organized, tracked, and completed on schedule. The position plays a key part in manufacturing preparedness by managing deliverables across departments and maintaining clear, actionable schedules. Supporting the full product lifecycle, this lead helps plan for Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Engineering Change Notifications (ECN), and obsolescence tracking (DMSMS). The goal is to secure long-term material availability for Department of Defense and aerospace clients. Unlike a traditional Program Manager, this job emphasizes hands-on execution and readiness oversight, working closely with both internal teams and contract manufacturers to ensure hardware is produced and delivered as planned. What you will do Manufacturing readiness and execution management Lead readiness processes for multiple products, confirming all cross-functional deliverables are complete before production begins. Organize and run readiness meetings, gathering input from Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Testing teams. Develop and maintain readiness checklists, deliverables, and exit criteria for each production run. Identify and address readiness gaps, such as material shortages, missing documentation, ECO status, tooling, and testing preparedness. Align internal teams and contract manufacturers before production starts. Planning, scheduling, and material readiness Create and maintain integrated schedules that cover supply chain logistics, material deliveries, manufacturing activities, ECO implementation, and other essential elements.
