Qualifications:A minimum of 15 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry. Exceptional writing and communication skills. Proven ability to meet project deadlines consistently. BS in Civil Engineering is required. A valid New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory. Experience with Revit software is a plus. Proficiency in computer analysis software is essential.

Our Structures Discipline focuses on new designs, repairs, and the rehabilitation of infrastructure, along with thorough investigation and performance evaluations. We seek an individual who excels both independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of structural engineers, designers, and technicians in producing comprehensive structural construction documents, including drawings, specifications, bidding, and construction administration for large-scale projects.
  • Design cost-effective system layouts while coordinating with various disciplines and performing essential calculations.
  • Conduct site visits to document and estimate costs for existing systems and building conditions.
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications and review shop drawings and product submittals.
  • Inspect ongoing construction projects and completed works to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Manage project budgets, including hours and resource allocation.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Prepare comprehensive Engineering Reports and tackle complex design challenges.
  • Stay updated on technical advancements and share knowledge with team members.
  • Collaborate closely with regional managers to manage workload and assist in developing business proposals.
