Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Experience with Revit is advantageous. Proficient in project history using computer analysis software.

LaBella Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. This role offers the opportunity to lead innovative projects that span from minor renovations to large-scale, complex constructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage or lead a team of structural engineers, designers, and draftspersons in producing comprehensive structural construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications for diverse projects.
  • Deliver construction phase services, including shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, and site visits to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct assessments and feasibility studies for existing structures that are to be improved, acquired, or have suffered damage.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to create cost-effective structural designs, providing various options and analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Engage with other engineering and architectural disciplines for integrated project execution.
  • Develop efficient structural systems through precise calculations and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Oversee project budgets, managing hours and resources effectively.
  • Mentor junior engineers and structural designers, providing guidance in calculations and documentation reviews.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
