AECOM is on the lookout for a dynamic and driven Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in upstate New York. This role is pivotal within AECOM's Transportation Business Line, where you'll engage in a diverse range of design-build civil engineering projects tailored for local, state, and federal agencies, as well as private sector clients.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project objectives while ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Lead and manage project or structural tasks on significant projects, mentoring both professional and entry-level engineers.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership in your specialty area.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices across a wide array of assignments and related fields.
- Independently make informed decisions on technical challenges and represent AECOM in key conferences.
- Address critical issues, plan, and coordinate work effectively.
- Implement advanced techniques, modifying and extending existing theories, principles, and practices relevant to the field.
- Receive guidance primarily on unusual conditions and developments.
