Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed analysis of complex components, assemblies, and spacecraft to ensure compliance with launch and on-orbit requirements. Define structural load and test requirements for components and subsystems. Lead vibration testing campaigns for analyzed components, assemblies, and spacecraft. Establish and define design best practices for upcoming projects. Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members for our growing team. RequirementsB. S. or M. S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis, with Femap/Nastran expertise preferred. Experience in structural dynamics testing. Ability to correlate finite element models with dynamic test data. Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers. Senior Structural Analyst

In this pivotal role, you will take charge of modeling, structural analysis, and testing of spacecraft components, subsystems, and complete systems. Your expertise will not only contribute significantly as an individual contributor but also involve mentoring and training junior mechanical engineers to excel in their projects. A strong analytical background, practical testing skills, and preferably experience in spacecraft or aerospace engineering are vital for success in this position.
