Qualifications

You will:Enhance instruction-following and Chain of Thought (CoT) reasoning: Innovate and implement strategies to boost the instruction-following and CoT capabilities of LLMs aimed at autonomous driving applications. This may involve fine-tuning methods, reinforcement learning techniques, or other novel strategies to enhance LLMs' problem-solving skills for complex driving tasks, decision-making, and interaction with dynamic environments. Engage closely with research teams by posing pertinent technical questions, converting research breakthroughs into production-ready systems, and guiding the technical direction collaboratively. Offer technical leadership to inspire senior engineers and researchers across machine learning, infrastructure, and data teams. Elevate the technical standards for how Waymo trains, assesses, and deploys LLM models within the autonomous driving technical framework.
