Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and management of Archer’s lab integration environments to support validation and verification activities, including quality assessments, human factors evaluations, and test pilot training.
- Collaborate effectively across various internal teams and suppliers to integrate, instrument, and maintain simulation models within real-time hardware-in-the-loop environments.
- Oversee the comprehensive configuration of simulation environments (e.g., SIL, HIL, CeRT, Iron Bird), focusing on data analysis and correlating simulation results with flight test data.
- Design and optimize simulation pipelines incorporating CI/CD practices for automated deployment, execution, and monitoring.
- Integrate third-party software and hardware systems into unified simulation architectures.
- Establish technical standards, mentor junior engineers, and cultivate a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.
- Direct the design and creation of graphical user interfaces for controlling real-time simulation environments.
- Lead task breakdown, technical planning, and troubleshooting of intricate issues across real-time and distributed systems.
- Shape tool architecture to enhance lab configuration and automation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in simulation software development and systems integration.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace, Software, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a technical leader within an engineering team, providing effective guidance in project planning and execution.
- Advanced skills in C/C++ and Python programming languages.
- Extensive expertise in MATLAB/Simulink environments.
- Significant experience in developing real-time HIL testing infrastructures.
