About the Role

In your role as a Senior Staff SDET, you will take a proactive approach—overseeing shared automation infrastructure, shaping release quality strategies, and spearheading initiatives that traverse teams and systems. This position is pivotal, merging hands-on engineering, architectural guidance, and a broader influence on organizational quality.
You will be responsible for architecting and scaling automation utilities and libraries, devising and developing internal tools that boost developer productivity and testing efficiency, and establishing testing strategies that guarantee high-quality releases across mission-critical systems. Collaborating across various teams and domains, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our quality culture, mentoring fellow engineers, and driving initiatives that define Fivetran's software development and deployment practices. Additionally, this role emphasizes the adoption of AI-driven solutions to expedite testing, elevate developer efficiency, and refine operational insights, making our quality practices smarter, quicker, and more scalable.
This position demands significant technical expertise, architectural vision, and the capacity to amplify impact beyond code through systems thinking, tool development, and strategic alignment.
This is a full-time position based in our Bangalore office. Our hybrid work model offers a combination of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, with two days in the office each week to foster connection and teamwork.
