Qualifications
Key Qualifications:
8 to 11 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role, with 5 to 7 years specifically in pre-sales for enterprise software solutions.
At least 3 years of experience with modern scripting languages (such as Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (such as C/C++, Java, C#) in a professional setting.
Proven expertise in designing scalable and highly available distributed systems, both in cloud environments and on-premises.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with customers to assess complex application architectures and provide actionable insights for improvement through technology.
Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex technical and business concepts effectively to both technical and business leaders.
Strategic mindset with the ability to work alongside sales teams to develop multi-threaded account strategies, aligning MongoDB resources to achieve a mutually beneficial account plan.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud providers.
Background in database programming and data modeling.
Experience in data engineering or AI/ML projects.
Expertise in transforming legacy systems into modern, scalable technology stacks.
Familiarity with popular sales methodologies/frameworks such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
