Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping Tulip's core product experience. We seek a technically proficient, people-oriented Build Group Lead to guide our expanding Build team. In this capacity, you will elevate our company by directing engineering managers and technical leaders overseeing the majority of Tulip's product landscape. You'll collaborate extensively with engineering and product teams to define the roadmap, scope projects, navigate scalability trade-offs, and foster effective teamwork. About You: You exhibit exceptional technical expertise, strong people management skills, and a genuine interest in understanding the business value of our product. Your extensive experience in developing and delivering SaaS products has equipped you with the necessary skills. You are passionate about mentoring engineers and facilitating their growth. A collaborative and motivated self-starter, you are ready to take the lead and bring your authentic self to the workplace. You also enjoy collaborating with infrastructure, product, design, and customer teams on significant projects and will work alongside your engineering leads to nurture and enhance our engineering culture. Skills & Experience Required: Proficiency in modern technology stacks such as React, Redux, NodeJS, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, and Postgres Demonstrated people management experience, including a successful track record of leading engineering managers or technical leads Expertise in developing large-scale SaaS products and complex distributed systems Previous leadership in development efforts and project management
