Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee that traffic reaches our users swiftly, reliably, and securely, no matter where they are located.You will navigate the realms of networking, load balancing, and traffic shaping. When issues arise—be it slowness, inaccessibility, or erratic behavior at the protocol layer—you will be the one to diagnose and resolve them.Key Responsibilities:Ensure seamless content accessibility across a globally distributed edge infrastructure.Design, operate, and enhance load balancing and traffic shaping systems at scale.Troubleshoot connection, latency, and accessibility issues end-to-end.Manage HTTP traffic flow from client to edge to origin and back.Investigate and rectify website and service reachability problems.Work across protocol layers to diagnose issues in depth.Core Qualifications:Proficient in load balancing and traffic shaping techniques—architecture, algorithms, health checks, and failover mechanisms.Experience with NGINX and/or HAProxy—configuration, tuning, and debugging in high-traffic environments.Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, routing, firewalls, and packet analysis.Fluency in the OSI model—comfortable working across layers 3 to 7, with knowledge of TCP internals, SSL/TLS handshake, and termination.Experience with SaltStack.Linux administration skills.Proficiency in Python for automation, tooling, and scripting.Ability to troubleshoot network and application layer issues in large-scale production environments.
