About the Team
The Server Security team at MongoDB, Inc. is part of the core engineering group, focused on advancing database user security at a global level. Based in New York City, this team designs and builds security features that support MongoDB’s distributed database platform.
What You Will Work On
- Cryptography: Implement Queryable Encryption, at-rest data encryption, and core cryptographic features. For more details on Queryable Encryption, see the MongoDB documentation.
- Identity & Access: Design authentication and authorization systems, manage TLS, and work with X.509 certificates.
- Network Security: Develop networking protocols that are both high-performance and low-latency, including PKI, Hashing, and Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs).
- System Integrity: Build features that support resilience, observability, and compliance for large-scale distributed systems.
