The Waymo Driver currently powers our fully autonomous ride-hail service and is adaptable to various vehicle platforms and applications. With over ten million rider-only trips completed and an impressive record of more than 100 million miles driven autonomously on public roads, along with tens of billions of miles in simulation across 15+ U.S. states, we are redefining transportation.Our Hardware Engineering team is a dynamic and collaborative group comprising electrical, mechanical, reliability, software, and vehicle engineers. We innovate, design, and refine the systems that serve as the eyes and ears of our autonomous technology, integrating these systems into our vehicle platforms.
