Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:Strong expertise in designing and implementing high-performance C/C++ components for real-time sensor data processing and on-device ML execution, with a focus on latency, memory utilization, and battery efficiency in constrained mobile environments. Experience driving the architectural evolution of on-device ML runtimes to accommodate rapid algorithm iteration for over-the-air updates. Proven ability to enhance and optimize core runtime modules responsible for filtering, resampling, and preprocessing sensor streams. Capability to translate product and algorithmic requirements into scalable, maintainable system designs. Collaborative skills to work with Data Science and Mobile teams for the integration and validation of on-device models. Leadership in conducting design and code reviews while maintaining high standards for performance, reliability, and maintainability. Experience with debugging and resolving production issues related to on-device algorithm functionality. A commitment to elevating the team's technical standards through architectural rigor and performance discipline. Flexibility to complete additional tasks as necessary.
