Depending on experience, responsibilities may include ownership of specific segments of the estimation stack or contributing to broader development efforts. This position is based in Mountain View or San Diego. What You Will Do Develop and maintain proprietary C++ libraries for state estimation, orbit determination, and navigation workflows. Create Python tools or bindings to support analysis, testing, automation, and efficient debugging. Implement and validate models for processes and measurements, filtering and smoothing algorithms, covariance propagation, initialization, gating, and related numerical utilities. Integrate data from GNSS, timing sources, maneuvers, telemetry, and external tracking inputs. Build simulation, replay, Monte Carlo, and regression tools to evaluate estimator performance and detect numerical or integration regressions. Assess estimator behavior for consistency, convergence, observability, initialization, and performance under off-nominal scenarios.
